In 2019, 80 of the best anglers in the world set out to redefine tournament bass fishing and what it means to be a true professional in the sport of Bass Fishing. Through this, the launch of Major League Fishing’s Anglers Association (MLFAA) was made and announced TBA Outdoors as its Agency of Record to help with its sponsorship and brand development, digital strategy, social media, and content development needs.
As the Agency of Record, TBA Outdoors will work to highlight the future vision of MLFAA. As professional athletes, The Association will function in many ways like other professional player associations. MLFAA will focus on raising money to promote environmental awareness and nature-protection initiatives, as well as youth fishing programs.
“When Major League Fishing first came onto the fishing scene seven years ago, we had aspirations for its growth, and today we are pleased to see the Anglers’ Association portion come to fruition,” explained Wes Long, executive director for MLFAA. “We are excited to see these talented athletes work together and further advance the vision and impact that professional anglers can make in our industry, for our communities, and with our youth.”

Earlier this year, MLFAA announced that its headquarters would be located at Lake Guntersville, Alabama.
